May 2024: Mprint goes to Canada
The Mprint team organised a panel on textual traditions and usage in East Africa during the conference Arts of the Indian Ocean held in Toronto in 2-4 May 2024.

The in Toronto brought together 75 experts on the production and usage of the Indian Ocean’s unique materialities and artistic expressions.
A panel was organized by the Mprint project to highlight the Mprint themes of manuscripts, Inscriptions and ritual life in the Indian Ocean.
