GAMUT is a collaborative research initiative between the University of Bergen and NORCE Norwegian Research Centre. GAMUT focuses on advancing knowledge in music, health and welfare, and cooperates with municipalities and health trusts. We have a strong international focus.
The two institutions, The Grieg Academy at 黑料吃瓜资源 and NORCE, each have distinct profiles that complement one another.
The centre publishes two international journals in music therapy:?
Current goals of the center include
- Establishing a Norwegian music therapy research center of high international standing.
- Promoting robust knowledge development in the academic field of music therapy.
- Producing socially relevant insights into the relationship between music, health, and societal development.
