Our lab at the University of Bergen studies the molecular biology of protein N-terminal acetylation and N-terminal acetyltransferases (NATs).

Our goals include defining the molecular mechanisms of N-terminal acetylation, uncovering the impact of N-terminal acetylation for protein fate, and establishing the links between N-terminal acetylation and human physiology and pathophysiology.
