Neuro-SysMeds symposium for forskere i tidlig fase

Neuro-SysMeds symposium for forskere i tidlig fase arrangeres fire ganger 氓rlig, og selv om de hovedsaklig er for de yngre forskerne hos Neuro-SysMed, dvs. ph.d.-kandidater, postdoktorer og andre yngre forskere og studenter, er de ogs氓 氓pne for andre som er interesserte i emnene som tas opp, ogs氓 utenfor Neuro-SysMed. Foredragene tar opp aktuell forskning innen demens, MS, ALS og Parkinsons.

En del av forskerskolen

Symposiene er en del av Neuro-SysMeds forskerskole i translasjonell nevrovitenskap under emnekoden NEUROSYSM910, og gir 3 ECTS til studenter ved 黑料吃瓜资源.

Serien av symposium har som form氓l 氓 gi ph.d.-kandidatene erfaring med presentasjonsteknikk, gi muntlige presentasjoner, delta i faglige diskusjoner og nyttiggj酶re seg faglige innspill og kommentarer for 氓 酶ke kvaliteten p氓 vitenskapelig presentasjon og vitenskapelig tenkning. Symposiet har ogs氓 som form氓l 氓 styrke vitenskapelige nettverk mellom forskere, og det blir lagt til rette for 氓 bygge relasjoner mellom forskere.

Symposiene organiseres fire ganger 氓rlig, to ganger i semesteret. Innholdet er en keynote presentasjon (ca. 45 minutter) etterfulgt av opptil fire innlegg og kort diskusjon (hver ca. 25 minutter). Presentasjonen skal v忙re av egen forskning og det skal fokuseres p氓 kvalitet i presentasjonsmetodikk og gjennomf酶ring.

Shamundeeswari "Sam" Anandan er akademisk ansvarlig for symposiene, og koordinatorer rekrutteres blant postdoktorer og ph.d.-kandidater ved Neuro-SysMed.

Sonia Gavasso will provide us with neuroimmunological insights from high dimensional analysis, Peder Lillebostad will give a talk on SNceg, automated segmentation of the substantia nigra pars compacta from multiparametric MRI, and Karine Eid will give us a summary of findings from her PhD thesis 鈥淐hildhood abuse, adult abuse, and the risk of perinatal depression in women with multiple sclerosis.鈥 Yola Gerking will explain application of imaging mass cytometry to compare microglia activation in various brain regions in paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration, and Gard Skulstad Johanson will give an ovierview of the N-ADAPT study: a Randomized Double-blind Trial of NAD Replenishment Therapy for Atypical Parkinsonism.
