Forskning
Jeg er forsker ved Senter for klima- og energiomstilling (Institutt for geografi, Universitetet i Bergen). Jeg tok doktorgraden ved Danmarks Tekniske Universitet med en avhandling om styring av klimaendringer.
I nesten tre ti氓r har jeg arbeidet med klimatiltak, tilpasning 鈥 inkludert grensene for tilpasning 鈥 samt 鈥榯ap og skade鈥. Min n氓v忙rende forskning fokuserer p氓 hvordan klimaendringer p氓virker immateriell kulturarv (les mer ). Jeg er interessert b氓de i responsene som enkeltpersoner og lokalsamfunn utvikler n氓r de st氓r overfor slike p氓virkninger, og i de konseptuelle paradigmene vi bruker for 氓 studere disse sp酶rsm氓lene. Jeg benytter etnografiske datainnsamlingsmetoder, agentbasert modellering og store spr氓kmodeller.
F酶r jeg begynte ved Universitetet i Bergen, jobbet jeg ved Danmarks Tekniske Universitet, FNs milj酶program og konsulentselskapet COWI A/S. Tidlig p氓 1990-tallet var jeg forskningsassistent ved to institutter for anvendt forskning.
