OPTIC-TB - Validation and harmonization activities in DRC

On January 30, 2025, a two-day workshop was held at Bach Palace, Bukavu, as part of the OPTIC-TB project. The event brought together key stakeholders including representatives from CDGH (Center for Tropical Disease and Global Health) , Ministry of Health, CPLT (Coordination Provinciale de lutte contre la Tuberculose), local health authorities, health zone managers representatives, and selected hospital managers representatives.
The primary objectives were to disseminate, review, harmonize, and validate the tools and frameworks developed under the project.
Stakeholder insights were invaluable in guiding modifications to ensure the tools are user-friendly, aligned with routine clinical practice and culturally acceptable.
A big thank you to all participants for their engagement and contributions toward strengthening TB care.
