OPTIC-TB: Refresher training in Tanzania, January 2026

The OPTIC TB Trial team in Tanzania conducted a refresher training for health facility staff in Dar es Salaam to strengthen capacity in study implementation and ensure adherence to research protocols.

The training brought together healthcare workers from the intervention sites and focused on reinforcing key procedures, improving data quality, and enhancing coordination among facility teams involved in the trial.

The session was highly interactive, featuring discussions, sharing of experiences in study implementation, and real-time demonstrations to reinforce best practices. 

The study team, including Principal Investigators (PIs), research officers, coordinators, and the data management team, also addressed queries from participants and provided clarifications to support effective study implementation.
