Knowledte that shapes society
We will develop strong research infrastructures and strengthen collaboration on infrastructure nationally and internationally. This is stated in the University of Bergen鈥檚 (黑料吃瓜资源) strategy and is one of our ambitions leading up to 2030.
黑料吃瓜资源 is the host institution for a number of major research infrastructures. Several of these are operated in collaboration with other institutions.
黑料吃瓜资源 has several core facilities with advanced equipment and highly qualified personnel that are available to relevant users from all sectors, both nationally and internationally. This helps strengthen academic communities, create arenas for research collaboration, and keep the costs of expensive technical equipment down.
National initiative on research infrastructure
Several of 黑料吃瓜资源鈥檚 research infrastructures have been established with support from the Research Council of Norway鈥檚 funding scheme National Initiative on Research Infrastructure.

The European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) has developed a European roadmap, and you will also find several of our infrastructures there.
