Abstract of Events
Det tredje nasjonale matematikerm酶tet avholdes i Oslo i september 2024.
Tid og sted:听12. sep. 2024听鈥撎13. sep. 2024,听
The conference will be focused on recent advances in geometry of integrable systems and applications of infinite-dimensional Lie groups in hydrodynamics as well as on geometric and hydrodynamic methods in dispersionless integrability. During the conference we will have an opportunity to celebrate the 60thbirthday of Boris Khesin.
The Summer school focuses on topics related to combinatorial Hopf algebras, relations to Lie theory and applications. The lectures will be aimed at advanced master students and PhD students in mathematics, without assuming any prior specialised knowledge. This is an activity of the听, a newly founded Norwegian research center for fundamental structures in computational and pure mathematics.
The aim of the school is to offer glimpses on the present state of research on geometric measure theory in Carnot-Caratheodory groups and in more general metric spaces. Analysis and Geometry on these structures has been object of extensive research in the last years, with applications ranging from degenerate elliptic equations to optimal control theory and differential geometry. It is intention of the organizers to encourage informal discussions among young and well-known researchers on current developments in the area.
The third Norwegian meeting on PDEs will gather Norwegian experts on partial differential equations, as well as three international keynote speakers. The meeting will be held at the Blindern campus of the University of Oslo from Wednesday 5 June (at 13:00) to Friday 7 June 2024 (at lunch time).
There will be a poster session on Wednesday afternoon.

The听Bergen-Lund-Trondheim seminar on dispersive and water waves equations听is an online research seminar organized by the research groups of the universities of Bergen, Lund and Trondheim. The aim of the seminar is to gather the three research groups and discuss on various topics related to dispersive equations and to water waves equations. It meets听roughly once per month.
The seminar has the following format. The speaker chooses the topic/article/survey and provides some references to the organizers. With those references, a third party in one of the universities introduces the talk with a short presentation. It is followed by a 40 minutes talk of the speaker, and a discussion afterwards.听Organizers :听听(NTNU),听听(黑料吃瓜资源) and听听(LU)
