About the research centre
Quantum 黑料吃瓜资源 will build on 黑料吃瓜资源鈥檚 internationally recognized expertise in quantum sensing and long-time track record in quantum simulations and quantum computing. It aims to both increase capacity in existing expertise and expand into complementary domains such as quantum optimization and quantum information theory.
The centre will officially open on 1 August 2026, and more information will be shared on this website soon.
Vision and research
Quantum 黑料吃瓜资源's vision is to substantially contribute to advancing foundational and applied quantum research. The centre will foster collaboration across academia, industry, public sector, and government. Furthermore, Quantum 黑料吃瓜资源 will provide infrastructure for quantum experimentation and new technology for society, as well as contribute to training the next generation of quantum scientists and quantum experts for industry.
The centre has 3 scientific pillars:
Quantum computing and information theory, which will focus on advancing algorithms, error correction, and post-quantum cryptography.
Quantum simulations and optimization, which will develop quantum-inspired methods for complex systems and combinatorial optimization.
Quantum sensing and experiments, which will pioneer diamond-based technologies for cancer diagnostics, proton therapy research, and nanoscale sensing.
A fourth pillar will be dedicated to centre management, strategy, and outreach; including the development of a quantum technology course package covering basic quantum topics in physics, sensing, computing, communication, optimization, and simulation.
