While has formally ended with the conclusion of Research Council funding, there is strong interest across the community in continuing collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint development within Planetary Health and One Health.
CHI, coordinated by the Pandemic Centre, will serve as a platform for ongoing networking and cooperation among CHI partners and former NORPath participants. The initiative will continue to offer meeting arenas, support interdisciplinary dialogue, and facilitate the development of collaborative activities and joint funding applications. Plans for the next months include a first digital meeting in spring 2026 and physical meetings at Alrek Health Clusterin September 2026.
This collaboration aims to maintain momentum, strengthen connections across institutions, and further advance research, education, and policy-relevant work at the intersection of climate and health.
CHI is a loosely organised interdisciplinary initiative established at the University of Bergen in 2024, with participants from several ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ faculties, Bergen municipality, and partner institutions including HVL, NORCE, NERSC, and the Bjerknes Centre. Coordinated by the Pandemic Centre, CHI provides a platform for collaboration on research, communication, and policy engagement related to climate and health. From 2027, coordination will rotate between the Pandemic Centre, the Bjerknes Centre, and HVL.
