Checklist

• Semester registration and course enrolment
  Register on by 1 September.
  You must register for the following compulsory courses (total: 40 ECTS):
  • Global Health – Challenges and Responses (SDG303)
  • Methods in Global Health Research (INTH315) 
  • Class registration only (not exam) for: 
    • Proposal Development (INTH330B)
    • Research Seminars (INTH326A)
• Activate your ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ user account
  Once you are registered in FS (Felles studentsystem), a ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ user account will be created automatically.
• Check Mitt ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ and your student email regularly
  Important information will be communicated there. You are expected to check several times per week.
• Pay the semester fee
  Deadline: 1 September
• Sign up for the Welcome Party
  Information and registration will be announced on Mitt ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´.
• Select a master’s project
  You will receive information by email. Once a project and supervisor(s) are assigned, you will become a member of your supervisor’s research group.
• Pre-select elective courses for the second semester
  Further instructions will be announced on Mitt ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´.

Checklist

• Submit the Master’s Agreement
  Deadline: End of January
  The Agreement for Master’s Degree Programmes must be completed and signed by all parties.

• Semester registration and course enrolment

  • Register for elective courses (total: 20 ECTS)
  • Register only for the class (not exam) for: 
    • Research Seminars (INTH326A)

Electives may be taken at CIH, elsewhere at ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´, or through the .
Please note that most institutions charge tuition fees, except , with whom CIH has a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

• Pay the semester fee
  Deadline: 1 February
• Participate in Research Seminars (INTH326A)
  • Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. (details by email)
  • Compulsory attendance: at least 14 seminars
  • You must give two presentations: 
    • One on your project proposal
    • One on your research findings
• Submit your research proposal
  Deadline: 20 May
  (If the deadline falls on a weekend, the following Monday applies.)
  Submission takes place via (INTH330B assignment folder).
• Supervisor’s evaluation of the research proposal
  Your main supervisor must submit an evaluation by the same deadline.
  This confirms:
  • Scientific quality and feasibility of the project
  • Supervisor involvement in the development of the proposal
• Fieldwork abroad (if applicable)
  If you plan to conduct fieldwork, complete the and submit it to:
