Curious about Functional Data Analysis (FDA)? Excited about its connection to Visual Data Science (VDS), where interactive visualization meets powerful computational analysis? If you’re eager to learn, share insights, and discuss cutting‑edge methods at the intersection of FDA and VDS, then this seminar is for you! We’re gathering a vibrant community of researchers and students for a week of collaborative learning at the University of Bergen, 15–19 June 2026.
This MSc-/PhD-level seminar brings together experts and enthusiasts for an immersive week of talks, discussions, and hands‑on engagement. There is no registration fee, but participants need to commit to contribute and participate, e.g., through a lecture, seminar-like presentation, or other engaging format.
The seminar takes place in Bergen city center, starting late afternoon on Monday, 15 June, and ending before lunch on Friday, 19 June. Tuesday–Thursday will be full program days.
Several FDA specialists from TU Wien and VDS experts from VRVis have already confirmed their attendance, along with ºÚÁϳԹÏ×ÊÔ´ faculty and students.
