I am the academic leader for the Norwegian Queer Archives, a national center for queer history with archival material from queer lives and organisations in Norway.
Previously, I was the project coordinator for the infrastructure project SAMLA. In the project, the archical material and collections of the three Norwegian tradition archives, ) at the University in Oslo, at the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History, and at the University in Bergen, will be digitalized and made accessible. SAMLA is financed through the Norwegian Research Council's INFRASTRUKTUR-programme, and is included in the .

I defended my PhD-thesis on last name choices by Norwegian men in heterosexual relationships in December 2020. This is a topic that I am still working on, and I am adding queer perspectives as well as multicultural perspectives to my present thinking about name choice in couples.
