Cardiologist and Grieg Foundation Associate Professor at the Center for Research on Cardiovascular Disease in Women at the University of Bergen.

Her research focuses on risk factors for the development of cardiovascular disease, especially in women. She has worked extensively with autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, where she leads several clinical projects. Additionally, she researches the impact of obesity and high blood pressure on the development of cardiovascular disease and leads the FATCOR follow-up study. Her research methods include imaging diagnostics such as echocardiography and arterial stiffness.
