Research
My research revolves around three interrelated areas: stereotypes and social perception, attitudes to immigrants and immigration, and misperceptions of norms.
I am interested in how social groups are society, how interact with other social category memberships, the i in the prediction of sexual harassment experiences, and how social perception is shaped by .
Drawing on data from the I have collaborated with other social scientists to understand Norwegians’ , how attitudes to immigration are impacted by , and the impact of studying attitudes to immigration as a.
Most recently, I am developing a series of studies on misperceptions of norms. I have previously found that Norwegians than they report for themselves and that these misperceptions are related to intergroup behaviors. Currently, I am exploring misperceptions of norms concerning help-seeking for mental health problems and misperceptions of others’ attitudes to sexual harassment.
