Research
I'm a PhD candidate in cultural studies, and in my PhD project I'm studying cultural understandings of homosexuality and queer practices in the Norwegian merchant navy in the period 1950-1980. As a cultural historian, I am interested in everyday practices, masculinity, oral memories and museums.
I am affiliated with the NRF research project QUEERDOM, which is led by Professor Tone Hellesund and researches queer home life and intimacies in the period 1842-1972.
