Short info
My work focuses on perinatal and neuroepidemiology, with a particular emphasis on population-based registry research and life-course analyses of neurological and pregnancy outcomes.
Momentum Delegate 2026/2027
I am a physician and clinical epidemiologist with a strong interest in understanding how we can use real-world data to improve care, particularly in women鈥檚 health. I currently work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Norwegian Centre for Headache Research (NorHead) at the University of Bergen, where my research focuses on migraine, medication safety, and health outcomes across the life course.
My work brings together large-scale health registry data, causal inference methods, and emerging machine learning approaches to better understand how treatments perform outside of clinical trials. I am especially interested in questions where evidence is limited, such as the safety of medications during pregnancy and the perinatal period, and how we can generate reliable data to support both clinicians and patients in making informed decisions.
I am motivated by a long-standing commitment to reducing gaps in care for underserved populations and to translating complex data into meaningful, actionable evidence. I enjoy working in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments and contributing to research that has the potential to shape clinical practice and public health. My goal is to build research that is both methodologically rigorous and grounded in real-world impact
