Research
Caroline Engen is an Associate Professor of Medical Ethics and Theory of Science at the University of Bergen. She has a background in both biomedical research and clinical practice, and her research focuses on how suffering shapes and challenges relationships in modern medicine. She teaches theory of science as well as medical philosophy, including ethics and epistemology.
