My name is Bruno Roccia, and I began working at GFI in January 2022 as a postdoctoral research fellow. The major goal of my study will be to bring the research line of datadriven computational mechanics to the field of offshore wind energy. I am from Argentina and graduated from the University of Río Cuarto with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Later on, I received a degree in Master of Science from the same university and then a PhD degree from the University of Córdoba. Since 2015, I have been a researcher at Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas de Argentina (CONICET). I really enjoy teamwork and discussions that allow for a deep and practical understanding of the problems studied. I also enjoy drinking coffee, running, trail running, outdoors, and traveling! I am really excited to be a part of this new group and work with you!
