Chemometrics and analytical chemistry.
Teaching
I teach the courses KJEM110 Chemistry and energy, KJEM325 Multicomponent analysis and FARM301 Pharmaceutical research methodology. I am also involved in the international master programme European Master in Quality in the Analytical Laboratory (EMQAL), where I teach two chemometric courses.
Master thesis projects are offered within the fields of chemometrics and analytical chemistry, often in cooperation with external industrial partners or other research institutions. Examples of previous projects are
- En tiln忙rming til prediksjon av faseoppf酶rsel av anioniske mikroemulsjonssystemer
- Application of multivariate curve resolution techniques to in situ X-ray absorption studies of alumina supported rhenium catalysts
- Multivariat modellering og prediksjon av brennverdi og tettleik i naturgass
- Liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry analysis of arachidonic and eicosapentanoic acid metabolites by using experimental design and curve resolution approaches
- Exploring the capabilities of gas chromatography and liquid chromatography single and tandem mass spectrometry for discriminating and characterizing marine oils by using chemometric tools
