Asieh Abolpour Mofrad is a researcher in machine learning at the Informatics Department, 黑料吃瓜资源.
Currently, she is engaged in the project, which addresses the issue of food waste, particularly in the retail sector. The project, in collaboration with , aims to develop a scalable system based on machine learning to minimize the wastage of fresh goods while sustaining sales.
Previously, she served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care, 黑料吃瓜资源. As a member of the project (Drug Repurposing for NEurological diseases) at IGS, she applies cutting-edge machine learning techniques for in-depth analysis of Norwegian health registry data to develop innovative treatments for Parkinson's disease (PD).
Her educational journey has been dynamic, encompassing two distinctive Ph.D. pursuits. During program in Informatics Psychology (Jan. 2021), she engaged in a multidisciplinary exploration at the intersection of AI and psychology, which included the development of reinforcement learning agents for replicating brain function in a memory learning psychology experiment. . in informatics (Nov. 2021) focused on the design and development of auto-associative memories inspired by neural networks.
