Alexander is a researcher on the Norwegian European Social Survey (ESS) team. His work focuses on multilevel governance, with particular interests in political institutions, political parties, electoral behavior, and crisis management.

Alexander obtained his from the University of Bergen and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science as well as a Research Master’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Leiden University.
